Spiritual Cancer by MisterSali Spiritual Cancer by MisterSali
This is 6" x 6" on Bristol.

This drawing if full of various meanings but most of all it is about the displaced spiritual nature of modern humans. Many of us are not in tune with ourselves or our spiritual heritage. The new times of technological caplitalist greed has taken over the minds of our masses and young people.

Many modern persons have a 'cancer' in the energy field surrounding them that they carry around with them as they interact with all the other disfunctional energy fields of people around them. Thus creating a strange awkward fear and distrust that permeates society.

Signed and numbered prints are available.

firstly, i love the colour systems and mixtures here. the way it looks like brain tissue and at the same time almost like a microchip...
of course, for some of us more than others this picture will mean more, on a personal level, but overly i think the impact and stark imagery almost speaks for itself.
i can almost imagine norms puzzling it over, perhaps getting as far as thinking its an implant in someones brain.
if i had to suggest any changes i would be hard pressed, the pattern work is very well placed and measured, it flows beautifully and stands out miles from the crowd.
very well done my friend.

Loving this.. the title alone is inspiring me to experiment more with esoteric/psychedelic themes in my own work.
